Dental Implants
Dental implants are one of the most advanced and reliable ways to replace missing teeth. They are designed to look, feel and function like natural teeth, helping you eat, speak and smile with confidence again.
An implant consists of a small titanium post that is gently placed into the jawbone, where it acts as an artificial tooth root. Once it heals and bonds with the bone, a custom-made crown, bridge or denture is attached on top to complete your smile.
Unlike removable dentures, implants are fixed securely in place, making them a long-lasting and comfortable solution for missing teeth.
Types of Dental Implants
Single Tooth Implant
If you are missing one tooth, a single dental implant can replace it without affecting the healthy teeth around it. A custom-made crown is attached to the implant, giving you a natural-looking and fully functional replacement.
Multiple Teeth Implants
When several teeth are missing, implants can be used to support bridges instead of relying on natural neighbouring teeth. This provides a stronger and more stable long-term solution.
Full Arch Implants
For patients missing most or all of their teeth, full arch implant treatment can replace an entire upper or lower set of teeth using a small number of implants. This offers much more stability and comfort than traditional full dentures.
This is often known as “same day teeth” or “All-on-4” treatment, depending on the case.
Implant-Supported Dentures
For patients who already wear dentures, implants can be used to hold them more securely in place. This reduces movement, improves comfort and makes eating and speaking much easier.

Consultation and Assessment
Your journey starts with a full consultation, including digital scans and X-rays to assess your bone health and suitability for implants. We discuss your goals and create a personalised treatment plan.
Implant Placement
The titanium implant is carefully placed into the jawbone under local anaesthetic. The procedure is comfortable and carried out with precision to ensure the best long-term result.
Healing Period
Over the next few months, the implant naturally fuses with the jawbone in a process called osseointegration. This creates a strong and secure foundation.
Final Restoration
Once healing is complete, your custom-made crown, bridge or denture is fitted to complete your smile. The final result is strong, stable and designed to look completely natural.
Bone Grafting and Sinus Lift
Some patients may need additional treatment before implants if there is not enough healthy bone in the jaw. Bone grafting helps rebuild the area to support the implant safely.
For upper back teeth, a sinus lift may sometimes be needed to create enough space for implant placement. This will be discussed during your assessment if required.
Are Dental Implants Right for You?
Most healthy adults with missing teeth can be suitable candidates for implants. Healthy gums, good oral hygiene and enough bone support are important factors.
Even if you have been told before that implants are not possible, modern techniques may offer new options. A consultation allows us to assess the best treatment for you.
Why Choose Implants?
Dental implants are often considered the gold standard for tooth replacement because they provide strength, stability and long-term results. They not only restore your smile but also improve your overall oral health and quality of life.
Our goal is to provide comfortable, natural-looking implant treatment that helps you feel confident every day.
